About

I’m Diana Chistruga, a food photographer and recipe developer who’s worked with leading U.S. publications such as Food & Wine, Martha Stewart, EatingWell, AllRecipes, Serious Eats, Taste of Home.

Through my professional and home cooking, I noticed a group of recipes kept coming back into our kitchen — family favorites and house staples that we make on repeat, rotating naturally with the seasons.

These are the dishes my family actually asks for, the ones I rely on week after week. This blog grew out of the urge to share those recipes beyond our own table.

Every recipe here is carefully selected from the best I’ve worked with, then tweaked and refined to suit real home cooking — simplified where possible, adjusted for better flavor, and made more forgiving without losing what makes it special. The goal is food that’s easier to cook, more enjoyable to eat, and reliable every single time.

My background in editorial food photography and recipe development shapes how this site is built. Each recipe is developed, tested, styled, and photographed with professional standards, but always with home cooks in mind.

These are the recipes that have earned their place in our home. I hope they find one in yours too.
